「3・6・9」のアラビアインデックスが代名詞の往年の傑作モデルをデザインモチーフに1950年代初期の個体だけに存在したハニカム文字盤を再現しました。

搭載する自動巻きムーヴメントは、シチズン傘下のムーヴメントメーカー、ミヨタの最高機種である9000系のキャリバー9039を採用。毎時2万8800振動とハイビートながら日本製汎用ムーヴメントのなかでは最も薄型の高性能機です。

1950年代に文字盤に採用された装飾で、初期の一部の個体にしか見られない世界的にも希少な存在として知られる通称ハニカム模様のギョーシェ装飾を再現しました。質感といい、立体感といい、想像以上によく仕上がっています。

1960年代当時のオリジナルの雰囲気を再現するために同じ36mm径ケースを使用。加えて8mmのビッグリューズを採用しました。アンティークウオッチのような味わいがより強調されたうえに、ネジ込み式リューズの操作性もアップしています。
また、時分針と秒針ドットにある夜光も経年変化による焼けた感じを表現するため、夜光塗料に色を加えていることから夜間でも光りません。あらかじめご了承ください。

アンティークウオッチに見られるドーム状にふっくらしたプラスチック風防を採用。そのドーム形も1960年代当時のような雰囲気になるよう、ベゼルからの高さを4mmとしてその形にはかなりこだわりました。

ケースのフォルムも当時の雰囲気を再現するために特にこだわったところのひとつです。薄くするために自動巻きムーヴメントは高級機の最も薄型タイプ、ミヨタの9039を使用。薄さはもちろん、ラグに向かって若干カーブする形状などかなり良く再現できていると思います。さらに裏ブタは若干膨らみをもたせて1950年代の最初期に見られたセミバブルバックのような雰囲気を表現してみました。ちなみにドーム風防の高さが4mm、ベゼル含んだケース厚は9.9mmです。

1950年代にロレックスが採用していたリベットブレスを忠実に復刻。写真の右側二つのコマは、マイナスの精密ドライバーを使えば自分自身でコマ詰めができる仕組みになっており、これはアウトラインだけの仕様です。実はこのリベットブレス、単体だけでもすでに600本以上もの販売実績をもつほどの大人気ブレスです。
