オリエントクロノエース　9面カットガラス　グリーンサンバーストダイヤル　Orient Chrono Ace 9-faceted glass Green sunburst dial

とても陽気な感じに映るオリエントのクロノエースです。ベゼルのゴールドと文字盤のアプライトバーインデックス、針、ブランドそしてcAロゴのゴールドが、サンバーストのグリーンと一つになり、とても明るく陽気に、そしてカットガラスから綺麗な姿をみせてくれています。日本の時計というよりも、なにか逆輸入されてきたかのような異文化的な印象を醸し出しているところがいかにもオリエントといったところでしょうか。2時位置にあるボタンで日付を変えることが出来るので使いやすいのも特徴的です。ベゼルのゴールドがいい感じに色褪せており、ベゼルとケースの2時位置にところどころ小さな点傷、裏蓋に薄い線傷がありますが、使用感があまりなく、年代を考えれば状態はかなり良い1本です。オーバーホールも済んでおりますのですぐにお使いいただけます。カットガラスの時計はセイコーシチズン各社出しておりますが、こちらもオリエントらしさを感じておすすめしたい1本です。

This is a very cheerful Orient ChronoAce. The gold of the bezel, the applied bar indexes on the dial, the hands, the brand and the gold of the cA logo blend with the green of the sunburst, making it very bright and cheerful, and it looks beautiful through the cut glass. Rather than being a Japanese watch, it gives off a foreign cultural impression, as if it had been imported back, which is what makes it so Orient-like. Another characteristic is that you can change the date with the button at the 2 o'clock position, making it easy to use. The gold of the bezel has faded nicely, there are small scratches here and there on the bezel and case at the 2 o'clock position, and there are thin scratches on the back cover, but it doesn't look like it has been used much and it is in very good condition considering its age. It has also been overhauled, so you can use it right away. Seiko Citizen has released cut glass watches, but this one also has a Orient feel to it and is one that I would recommend.
