SEIKO製メカ・クォーツクロノ・VK64を搭載した２レジスタークロノ。その名もシリーズ III です。デザインのモチーフとなったのはポールニューマンの愛称で知られる手巻きの傑作クロノグラフ。その中でもネジ留め式のプッシュボタンを採用してクロノグラフでありながら当時50m防水を実現した実用クロノの傑作と呼ばれる70年代の第3世代を再現しました。お客様より「メタル仕様を出してほしい」という要望が多数寄せられたことから今回製品化に至ったというものです。

文字盤外周の分目盛りは一般的な黒や白抜きではなく通称「赤巻き」と呼ばれる目盛りを赤にプリントした仕様を採用。モノトーンで落ち着いた雰囲気に加えてメタルベゼルの程よい光沢感はアンティークの風合いを強めると同時にファッション性も高めます。加えてサイズも37.8mm径に厚さも約11.9mmと細身の手首にもすんなり納まる程よいサイズ感なのもこの2レジスタークロノシリーズの大きな魅力となっています。
